These Terms of Use govern your use of wadsworthchamber.com (the "Site"), operated by Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. d/b/a Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is informational

Content on this Site, including member listings, event details, program descriptions, and dues figures, is provided for general information. Membership itself is governed by our bylaws and the membership agreement you sign, not by the content of this Site.

Member directory listings

Our directory lists businesses that are members of the Chamber. We publish the information members give us and keep it current as best we can, but we do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any member's work, licensing, insurance, pricing, or availability. Hiring a member business is an agreement between you and that business. A listing is not a recommendation.

If a listing is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will correct it. We may remove or suspend a listing when membership lapses or when a listing breaks these Terms.

Applying for membership

Submitting a membership application is a request to join. It does not by itself create membership or any obligation on either side. Applications are reviewed by the Chamber, and membership begins once your application is accepted and dues are paid.

Event registration and payment

Registering for an event reserves your seat once payment clears. Our payment processor handles the transaction. Events may be rescheduled or cancelled; if we cancel an event, we refund the registration fee. Refund requests for events you cannot attend should come to the Chamber office before the event date.

No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantee that the Site will be available at all times, that information is current, or that the Site will be free of errors.

Intellectual property

The Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce name, logo, and the layout and copy of this Site are our property or that of our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Member names and logos in the directory belong to those businesses and are shown with their permission. You may not copy, redistribute, or reuse any of it without written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false or misleading information through any form on the Site.
• Attempt to interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Site or its underlying services.
• Scrape or harvest the member directory, or use member contact information for bulk solicitation.

Third-party links

This Site links to third-party websites, including member websites, our Google Business Profile, and social media. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or from any dealing between you and a member business.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Medina County, Ohio.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
