The Wadsworth Area Chamber Board of Directors meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Wadsworth Chamber office, 151 Main Street, Suite 203, Wadsworth Square Commons, from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.
We understand that other obligations (work and personal) may prevent your attendance. According to our by-laws, Board members must not miss more than three meetings per year. If you are unavailable to attend, please contact the Chamber office.
The Chamber hosts ten monthly luncheon meetings each year, traditionally on the last Wednesday of the month. Board members are asked to attend as many of the luncheon meetings as possible.
The Chamber hosts numerous ribbon-cutting ceremonies and open houses throughout the year. These events are very important to our local businesses and provide valuable opportunities to show our support and celebrate their success.
A calendar invitation is sent to Board members as soon as each ribbon-cutting ceremony or open house is scheduled. We ask that 6 to 8 Board members attend each event to represent the Chamber and support our businesses.
Board members are required to sign a statement regarding “Conflict of Interest” and “Code of Ethics.”
Board members are elected by the Board of Directors to serve three-year terms. Each Board member may serve a maximum of two terms, subject to mutual agreement.
